#sometimes I really hate the way things are glossed over in tw #because this is Derek being tortured #and no one seems to pay these things any mind #he was electrocuted and physically beaten for who knows however many hours #by the woman he loved and betrayed him and murdered his family #so let’s add emotional abuse to that as well #and then he goes off traipsing through the woods not even fully healed #and gets shot twice by arrows and then a wolfsbane bullet #and then he has to kill his uncle who #wonderful surprise - murdered his sister #so let’s add more betrayel and death to the already mountain of grief that is Derek hale #Sometimes I do not know how he can even stand to breathe #and it’s just… An added storyline (via monopolizeme)

Those tags really hit me hard, because Derek has been through so much. He’s had to deal with multiple tragedies and he has to deal with how people put him down, how in this moment he was being tortured by the one he loved. Derek is so broken. He had to grow up at a young age, he had to deal with all this and he still has no one. It just makes me really sad because Derek tries so hard to be better in everyone’s eyes and people are still torturing him. In more ways than one.
